We have just started to move into our new building at Glastonbury. We would like to thank the Glastonbury Committee for all of the hard work that they put into the building of the new sheds and for not giving up, and would also like to thank everyone else that helped with this project.
So far there are three sheds up and the fourth one is half way there.
The clubs that have been able to secure a shed at Glastonbury are, King William Carnival Club from Glastonbury, Wick Carnival Club from Glastonbury, Gorgons Carnival Club from Wells and the fourth building is secured for Cobra Carnival Club from Wells.
There are plans for other buildings to be erected on this site in the near future.

SWG Shepton - Wells - Glastonbury Association
The Gorgons are proud members of the SWG, There are three other Clubs in this association, Jesters Carnival Club, Wick Carnival Club and Wells and Glastonbury Young Farmers Carnival Club. The meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at each of the clubs headquarters, taken in turn.
Each year the SWG clubs play skittles and at the end of the year there is a party where they all receive Cups for different things like, Lighting, Music, Dance Routine, Costumes and Artwork etc;
This is a very good party where everyone can let their hair down and just party.
The SWG clubs a very saddened with the news of Westonzoyland Carnival Club leaving the SWG and wish them Luck for Carnival 2000.

John and Lyn Clinch are the Landlord and Landlady of THE GLOBE INN, Wells. This pub is Gorgons headquarters were we hold our meetings and have other different things going on. Lyn is a member of our club and John is the club`s President.
